Meet the Founders
The DB Grannies
Every society needs its elders. Ours happen to be sharply dressed, deeply opinionated, and absolutely done with nonsense.
Margaret
The Ringleader
"I didn't come this far to be polite about it."
Margaret has strong opinions about thread count, weak tolerance for small talk, and an encyclopedic knowledge of exactly when to deploy a withering look. She founded the Society because someone had to.
Evelyn
The Socialite
"Darling, the wine is fine. It's the company that needs work."
Evelyn brings the elegance. She also brings the receipts. A former art director with impeccable taste and a very dry sense of humor, she is responsible for making sure everything looks as good as it sounds.
Dorothy
The Sweet One
"I've been scandalous since before it was fashionable."
Dorothy has seen it all, done most of it, and has the embroidery to prove it. She keeps the Society grounded in its roots — irreverent, intentional, and always a little bit ahead of its time.
Barbara
The Instigator
"I'm not causing trouble. I'm just asking questions."
Barbara is the reason the newsletter exists, the reason the sweatshirts say what they say, and the reason every DB drop comes with a story worth reading. She laughs first and explains later.
